Staying Connected
The U-walker was developed by primary carers, inspired by the need to maintain connection with their patients and avoid the danger of pushing wheelchairs into busy roads. The design was then adapted to fit both wheelchairs and buggies and extend the safety features to parents and infants, as well as carers and patients.

Inspired by necessity
The need to feel connected. Walkers often spend hours with their patients but rarely share experience of the outdoors from one perspective. The U-walker gives carers the chance to walk along side their patients, maintain eye contact and the emotional support a few hours of shared experience provides.
